Zyan Williams

Board Chair

Zyan Williams is a 25-year-old native of Houston, Texas, currently residing in Chicago, Illinois with his beautiful wife, Mesha. He is a proud graduate of the illustrious Prairie View A&M University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout his journey, Zyan has been fortunate to travel the world, encountering new people and perspectives that have had a profound impact on his life. Much of his ability to connect with others and embrace diverse viewpoints can be attributed to his deep-rooted passion for the performing arts, a love that continues to shape his personal and professional life.

From a young age, Zyan was actively involved in his school's and district's choir, where he consistently earned recognition for his performances, receiving individual awards and high marks within ensembles. His love for the arts, however, extends beyond singing. Zyan is a dedicated admirer of theater, opera, orchestras, live bands, and various musical ensembles. He has always believed that exposure to the musical arts has the power to enrich children's lives, broadening their horizons and fostering creativity. Zyan is a firm advocate for the idea that every child—regardless of socioeconomic, political, or religious background—deserves the opportunity to experience the transformative power of music and the arts.

Driven by this belief, Zyan is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for P.A.W.E., a nonprofit organization committed to providing arts education and opportunities to young people. He is passionate about the organization's mission to positively impact the youth of today, ensuring they are inspired and empowered to create, dream, and lead. Zyan feels incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that shares his dedication to this cause, and he is excited to contribute to a future where children are given the tools to express themselves and make lasting change.
