Workshops & Master Classes

In this hands-on workshop, participants will work in small groups to create and devise a 2-5 minute theater piece, with the guidance of an experienced director. Over the course of one hour, they will collaborate, develop their ideas, and bring them to life through improvisation, scripting, and movement. The workshop will culminate in a live performance of the pieces, showcasing the creativity and teamwork that went into each unique production.

They will have the opportunity to integrate singing, dancing, and acting as they rehearse and bring the number to life. Led by an experienced instructor, the workshop will emphasize collaboration, stage presence, and the synergy of all three elements, culminating in a fun and energetic group performance.

In this one-hour workshop, children will learn a fun and energetic piece of choreography, exploring a variety of dance styles, including but not limited to hip-hop, jazz, musical theater, and modern. The moves will be broken down step by step, building confidence, coordination, and self-expression through movement. With clothing pieces provided, they'll have the opportunity to mix and match to design their own unique costumes, while learning about how costumes help bring characters and stories to life on stage. This hands-on experience encourages creativity, collaboration, and an appreciation for the role of costume design in theater productions.
